Although it was written years ago (around 2015), this track was a late addition to the album. I was harbouring all sorts of stuck up ideas about how I wanted the album to have a consistent vibe, how I wanted to produce serious music, and that this tune was not really one of “my” sort of tunes.

Then I realised how stupid I was being, gave myself a good slap and told myself to get over myself.. After all, what’s wrong with producing something light-hearted? Are we not allowed to be happy? I certainly would like people to be happy when they listen to my music.

So here it is. And personally, it’s now one of my favourite tracks.

Original composition, performed on a Pedulla 5-string bass, tuned E-A-D-G-C, with a loop pedal.
